African Sales Executive
The ideal candidate must have a qualification in sales and / or marketing with a minimum of 10 years’ sales experience and an exceptional track record within the African continent.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Process Industries with particular focus on industries such as Chemical, Mining, Pharmaceutical, Agro-Chemical, Food, Beverage and Brewing, where production type plant and equipment are being used.
Must have the ability to communicate complicated technical issues with effective presentation skills.
Must have a tenacious work attitude and work as a team member.
Must have exceptional negotiation skills to deal with various customers on various levels within different countries.
Must be able to meet deadlines along with working under pressure, ensuring performance targets are met.
Must be highly innovative and proactive in order to meet set sales goals.
Willing to travel on frequent basis.
Most importantly, must be energised by a challenging environment and be stimulated to grow the company.
Metal Tank Industries, a well-established Stainless-Steel Manufacturing Company in the East Rand specialising in the building of vessels and process plants, has a vacancy for a Technical Buyer.
The core mission of the Technical Buyer is to source specialized parts and products for the organization, by finding potential suppliers, negotiate price and terms.
These parts would typically include special flanges, valves, fittings, motors, gearboxes, pumps, mechanical seals, electrical switch gear and components, instrumentation, gauges, controllers etc.
The Technical Buyer should have the ability to procure at the best price possible for goods that meet the quality standards of the organization.
To be able to establish and maintain ongoing relationships with preferred suppliers.
A minimum of 10 years’ technical buying experience is a requirement.
Must be able to perform under pressure and meet critical project deadlines.
Candidates will be screened against their knowledge of the selected key performance indicators (KPI’s), and will be asked for contactable references.
